Performing funeral rites following the death of parents, death anniversaries and annual mahalyapaksha for all deceased elders of the family are mandated in Hinduism. Performing these rituals generate blessings and prosperity for the living members of the family. 
 
Priests and cooks are available to provide the necessary services. Initially two places are selected. One is Nerur, a holy village where the holy river Cauveri flows from North to South like the Holy river Ganges and the Jeeva Samadhi of Sri Sadasiva Brahmendral is located. The second one is proposed in Chennai.
 
The estimated cost per family is $5000. Donations can be made in memory of the parents.
